It's no secret that electric trucks are quick, but are they quicker than trucks fueled by petrol 

Ford F-150 hybrid, Ram TRX, Ford F-150 Lightning, and Rivian R1T are taken to the drag strip 

The Fast Lane Truck to try out the notion of racing EV vehicles against gas-powered trucks

 The goal is to determine which truck is eventually the quickest.The Ford F-150 hybrid,

which features a V6 and an electric engine with 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque as well as a 10-speed 

automatic gearbox, competes against the Ford F-150 Lightning in the first race.

Both trucks are expected to be fast in a race between the hybrid and the completely electric Ford F-150 Lightning,

but it quickly becomes apparent that these two vehicles are not made equally fast once the race has begun.
