Due to the rising demand for SUVs, several manufacturers have scaled down or discontinued

With the discontinuation of the Fusion model in 2020, Ford will only offer the Mustang

non-truck or SUV option for consumers. This occurs when the Bronco SUV model's choices grow.

In 2024, Volkswagen will stop producing the Passat and the Arteon, eliminating two of the brand's sedan

models and leaving just the Jetta and Golf hatchback as the last non-SUV alternatives.

As SUVs become more popular, new SUV categories are beginning to appear on the market.

Subcompact, compact, midsize, and full-size SUV models are available from manufacturers

Similar to the sedan market, there are also luxury choices for each portion of the class.
